I love doll houses… My great-grandmother owned one from 1900’s and I remember staring at the little chairs, paintings, plates and forks for hours… It still remains in the family although it has now become a rehash of new and old miniatures and it even has a tiny computer! (Opposite a tiny 1900 phone, yup we crossed the historically accurate line long time ago…).
The idea of doing tiny furniture as topper had been in my head for a while but I never found the time so when I got invited to the housewarming of two awesome people such as my friends Karina & Joff, I knew the chance had arrived!
And here they are, tiny, tiny chairs, sofa, bed, fridge… Hope you like them!
I was going to do the tiny fridge with it’s shelfs and drawers but half way through I was like… are you kidding yourself? But I did some tiny bananas!
Ah yes! They had to be watching Doctor Who! (They are big fan’s too!)
I made this bed with a marshmallow, extra fluffiness!
Mini sofa trying to imitate the one from Ikea everyone has…
The plants were the size of half the bed! So let’s say they have giant amazonian plants in their pad!
Wobbly bookshelf, no wonder the books were falling off! ;D
Tiny clothes that ended up looking 70’s vintage, I have no idea why…
Every house needs a Home Sweet Home poster, no? (and a stick figure one too hehe)
Washing machine with laundry basket
Mini lamp and chairs
Every Aussie house needs a barby and some sausages!
And the mini closet
