I love kites… My family used to have a giant colourful eagle kite from the 1940 or so that was so old and weary, it was only taken out on special occasions… I did get to fly it once, and it went so high, so beautiful…It gives you some kind of sense of freedom, like if you could just lift of and fly behind it.

I’ve been toying with the idea of Kite cupcakes for a while and these are just a first test of the waters… now that I have a much clearer idea of how to go about it, I might try chinese kites next time!
